In 2002 the Global Peace Initiative of Women was born in Geneva at a gathering that brought together over 500 women peace-builders, religious and spiritual teachers, meditation practitioners, and women working to protect the Earth and all life.

On January 22, 2021, we invite you to join us as we again gather some of these women who have inspired and carried out this work over the past two decades. As we bring closure to one chapter and begin a new one, hopes are raised that we as a global community will be able to surmount the challenges and begin to implement a new vision for our world. We have invited these women of wisdom to share their thoughts as we enter not only a new year, but hopefully a time of greater awakening.
